Take-Two has released it's first quarter fiscal 2008 financial results today. Not interested? I don't blame you. How about when I say the sequel to one of many people's choice for game of the year in 2007 is mentioned?
In the report it gives the 2008-09 outlook for the company which includes the release dates and notes on Grand Theft Auto IV, the acquisition of Illusion Softworks, and Bioshock 2.
Bioshock 2 is being developed by 2k Marin and will hit shelves in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2009. Here is the official statement:
"-- 2K Games said today that BioShock 2, the sequel to the wholly owned and internally developed title, is being developed by 2K Marin and is planned for release in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2009. The critically acclaimed BioShock title has sold over 2 million units worldwide since its launch in August."
It looks like a long wait for the highly anticipated sequel to one of last years best selling games, but you can always go back and play the original while you wait!
