Game Informer Unveils Batman: Arkham Asylum

After seeing "The Dark Knight" who doesn't want a Batman game? has the details on the upcoming issue of Game Informer and it has an in-depth feature on Batman: Arkham Asylum being produced by Rocksteady Studios and Eidos. Here are the early details:

"This completely original title explores Gotham City’s darkest location, the infamous Arkham Asylum. But as a routine prison transfer goes wrong, the Joker sets his demented plan into action and Batman comes face to face with an army of his worst enemies. In a dark and gritty setting reminiscent of Bioshock (with a story co-written by Paul Dini), Arkham Asylum is setting the stage for a true-to-character Batman game."

Stay tuned to GPU for the latest on Batman: Arkham Asylum!

Arkham Asylum definitely has a lot of potential, and it looks like it was influenced by some great games.

It's coming out for the PS3 and Xbox 360. It's still to early to tell, but what system are you thinking about getting it on?

If you don't have both systems, you should take a look at this Stacker 2 contest going on which has less than 150 entrants so far. All you have to do is design a 6 Hour Power t-shirt, and if you win you get a PS3 (or 360, your choice), 10 t-shirts with your winning design, a year's supply of 6 Hour Power energy shots, and a copy of Rise of the Argonauts.

Check out the details here: If you decide to enter let me know and I'll vote for your designs. Shoot an e-mail my way if you have any questions. Good luck.
