GameStop.com has a new listing for a Mass Effect 2 disc re-release set to launch February 10th. The edition's 2nd disc is said to contain documentaries, trailers, music, design galleries and the "Bring Down the Sky" DLC. This fine game and bonus extras can be yours for $19.99. This is a great deal for anyone that has not picked up or played the game yet, and a decent deal for those wanting to trade in their old copy and get the bonus items and DLC. File this in the huge, most likely not true but very cool, section of the rumor mill. User Dodece from the VGChartz forums states that: " September 25th 7pm EST. Microsoft will start a five hour countdown to relaunch their console. Yes that is right nothing short of a relaunch is acceptable. At the end of the five hours your console will update to the new interface with full functionality. To promote this most historic event with a full fledged media blitz. Microsoft has gone so far as to rent television space as in rent a channel. For those five hours G4 television will cover the event exclusively with live coverage. For those with Live they will be able to download or stream the channel." Not only a 5 hour re-launch event, but there is much more. Also according to Dodece there will be three new channels launched, the first a partnership with Sirius radio which allows users, for a small fee payable with Microsoft points, to stream Sirius radio through their 360. We're going to say this is a rumor for now, but reports are saying the latest issue of OXM UK is confirming Infinity Ward's next game will be a sci-fi shooter. Whether this is their next Call of Duty installment is yet to be determined. For all we know, this could be a whole new series since Infinity Ward has been saying for some time they want to do something different. As popular as the Call of Duty name is and what it is known for, I can't really see them taking the series into the future yet. My guess is, it will be a new IP but then again, I'm just speculating.

A few entries for the rumor mill today; First, more on the KOTOR MMO front, Amazon.com has a new listing for the game. No information is present but an odd listing, quite possibly done by someone bored at work, still interesting. Even more interesting is the platforms listed, Windows XP and Vista. Surely this is just a random fake, an occurance to bait those anticipating the game, but a good rumor mill entry! Second, a rumor has presented itself tonight stating that Microsoft has hired Gearbox to develop Halo 4 for the next Xbox. Joystiq reports that Gearbox's Randy Pitchford had teased that their next game is something "big." Stating ""When you find out what this is, you'll likely agree that I can't oversell this one."Do people want a Halo 4, well, the field is split, but do real gamers that care about quality want a Halo produced by someone other than Bungie?
