Although people were hoping for Snake to sneak onto the Xbox 360 or Nintendo DSi, it looks like the next Metal Gear game will be going to the iPhone. 1up has confirmed the next Metal Gear will be called Metal Gear Solid Touch.
Here are a few of the details so far:
- Game is based on characters and story of Metal Gear Solid 4
- Everything is controlled with the touch screen
- 8 levels in the game
- More stages will be added later
- The points you earn in the game can be used to unlock images and wallpapers from the MGS series
