Along with the announcement of Animal Crossing for Wii, Nintendo announced WiiSpeak, a microphone for online communication. Nintendo has released more information on the WiiSpeak, and it will release separately for $29.99 and allow users to not only chat from person to person but from room to room.
It has been a long time waiting for voice communication to show up on the Wii but it looks like Nintendo finally gave us a solution. Hopefully this will open the door to more online interaction.
