According to a Gamespot article, among Activision's SEC filings analyst Edward Woo stumbled upon some unforeseen information. Along with Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Guitar Hero: World Tour, and Guitar Hero: On-Tour releasing in fiscal 2009, Activision plans to release Guitar Hero: Metallica. Here is the official statement:
"In fiscal 2009, we plan to publish Guitar Hero: On Tour for the NDS; Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, Guitar Hero: Metallica, and Guitar Hero IV across multiple platforms."
One cannot help but wonder whether the quality of the games will suffer with this many versions on the plate in such a short time. Not to mention complaints about charging $60 for a slight update in graphics and new songs. Only time will tell.
