The soundtrack to Halo Wars is set to release on February 17th through Nile Rodgers' Sumthing Else Music Works record label. The OST is based on the game and was composed by Stephen Rippy of Ensemble Studios and performed by the FILMHarmonic Orchestra and Choir Prague. The pack contains the award-winning music composed for the Halo trilogy by Martin O'Donnell and Michael Salvatori. The soundtrack features an original score by Steve Jablonsky, who has done soundtracks for movies such as "Transformers" and "The Island." The soundtrack will also feature the Skywalker Symphonic Orchestra and Chorus at Skywalker Sound Studios. DICE has just announced that a Remix album will be available via digital download along side Mirror's Edge on November 11th. Braid creator Jonathan Blow is not planning to release an official soundtrack for the main reason that the soothing tracks you hear in the XBLA game Braid are not his own creation and are licensed. In a post on the game's website Blow put up the list of tracks from each world, with links to Magnatune so that you may purchase those that you like.
