The first map pack for Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4, entitled the Variety Map Pack, is now available on the Xbox Live Marketplace. Playstation owners remember the map pack is exclusive to the 360 for the first three weeks, stay tuned for information on when the PS3 pack will release. UPDATE: I just checked for myself and the patch is indeed up. Let us know how you like the changes in our comments section. Finally the Playstation fans are able to enjoy the same COD4 patch the Xbox players were treated to about a month ago. Robert Bowling, aka IAMfourzerotwo , says the patch will be out this week. According to Joystiq , the patch is already up. The patch includes numerous fixes such as much improved sniper accuracy while using the ACOG scope and host migration. Call of Duty 4 will be getting new maps in April. There will be four maps total: Broadcast, Chinatown (COD2 veterans may recognize it's similarity to Carentan), Creek and Killhouse. It looks like Infinity Ward made sure to include a lot of variety in this map DLC, from the open outdoors of Creek to the confined quarters of Killhouse. GotY Edition Infinity Ward will be releasing a Game of the Year edition of Call of Duty 4. It will include a new cover to reflect their awards and tokens to unlock the upcoming map DLC.

We have just received word the the Xbox 360 title update for Call of Duty 4 is now live. Hit the jump for the update details.
