Ubisoft and Techland have teamed up once again to take us to the wild west. Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood is set to be a prequel to the original Call of Juarez. The game takes players from "Civil War-era Georgia to the Aztec ruins of Mexico." “Call of Juarez was well received by gamers and critics,” said John Parkes, Marketing Director at Ubisoft EMEA. “We’re confident this new collaboration with Techland will bring an even bigger and better adventure to fans of shooters and the lawless Wild West.” The game will release later this year on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC.

Ubisoft has released the first set of DLC for Shaun White Snowboarding. The Glamour pack contains a variety of new equipment for your rider. The pack is 400 MS points on the 360 and $4.99 on the PS3. The Glamour Pack includes provides riders with an exciting variety of new gear and equipment to conquer the mountain with, and includes the following: • 7 Pants • 7 Coats • 4 Tuques • 4 Gloves • 4 Boots • 4 Goggles • 14 Snowboards • 2 Bindings • 3 Backpacks

Ubisoft has just announced that a new DLC pack entitled "Faction Elite" is available now on the Xbox 360 and PS3. The pack costs 300 MS points and contains three new battalions and six new upgrades. "These new elite battalions include the legendary JSF 15th Special Operations, the Spetsnaz Alpha Brigade, and the Enforcer Corps Battlegroup. The “Faction Elite Pack” will also grant immediate access to six exclusive unit upgrades including Ceramic Armor for the Spetnaz Guard Brigade and Caseless Ammunition for The European Federation’s Gunships to name a couple."

Update:  The pack is out now on the Xbox Live Marketplace, go download! The pricing for the pack has been set at 800 Microsoft points (that's $10). Ubisoft has announced today that DLC for Far Cry 2 will be hitting the Xbox Live Marketplace and Playstation Store by the end of November. The "Fortune's Pack" DLC will be bringing new vehicles and weapons to the game for both the single and multiplayer modes. See the images below. Fresh from France is a new trailer for Ubisoft's upcoming shooter Far Cry 2. The video features information on one of the villains of the game named "The Jackal." Also found in the video is a link to a blog by Reuben Monday-Oluwagembi who is credited to be a "a freelance correspondent reporting from Port Selao." Ubisoft's Ubidays are just beginning to get underway in Paris where we can expect more information and videos of upcoming Ubisoft games over the course of the two day event.
