First Quantum of Solace Gameplay Footage

Gametrailers has an interview video with Quantum of Solace Executive Producer Garrett Young which features some never before seen gameplay footage of the upcoming movie tie-in from Treyarch. The gameplay looks good and seems to play smooth using the Call of Duty 4 engine. I will be anxious to see how the multiplayer turns out.

Call of Duty 5 to Premiere on Xbox Live This Weekend

The world will gets its first look at Treyarch's Call of Duty 5: World at War this weekend exclusively on Xbox Live. A trailer for the upcoming CoD5 will premiere on Xbox Live only from June 21-22, so be sure to download it as soon as possible. Call of Duty 5: World at War is set in the pacific during World War 2. Treyarch has taken a lot of heat for returning the series to World War 2 so the trailer this weekend will really show if it was a good idea or not. CoD5 is planned to release later this year.

UPDATE: The scans at MaximumFear have been taken down for legal reasons. GamesTM magazine and the latest Official Xbox Magazine (with strategyinformer.com and Videogame247.com reporting) have the first details of the next game in the Call of Duty franchise being developed by Treyarch. Call of Duty 5 will head back to the 1940's and World War 2, but this time will be set somewhere in the Pacific region. The game will support co-op and is also being developed for the Nintendo Wii with Wii Zapper support. “There will be co-op for the first time in a Call of Duty. Also there will be vehicles and squad-based elements to the multiplayer. Formats: PC, PS3, 360 and Wii. The Wii version is being worked on by a separate team within Treyarch.
