Good news today, two games that were being greatly anticipated until their lives were cast in doubt are back. Atari has announced today that it has picked up publishing rights to The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena, and a source close to the company has stated they have picked up Ghostbusters as well. Riddick has seen a bit of a change in direction. Originally the game was set to be a remake of Escape from Butcher Bay with a few new levels, but now will be an entirely new game with a brand new story and multiplayer for the first time in the series. Riddick is set to release in 2009. Good to see that two highly anticipated games are back on track.
